I absolutely agree with you, a typical Microsoft ploy. A youngster within Microsoft has decided on white for the icons, just wait until they get a little older and cannot see so well anymore.

When the writing in the icons was black I could read them perfectly, but now they have turned them to white I do so with great difficulty.
